Ann Cruz ( Philippine)

Ann comes from the Philippines and has a Bachelor of Science in Education, major in General Science and minor in English. She's a licensed teacher and passed a qualifying exam to teach in Texas, USA. Her experiences include teaching children and adults in the Philippines, Hong Kong and China. She believes teaching is the most challenging profession and says, "I am happy to be a part of the development of English in China and impart whatever knowledge I have."

Kathrina Chan ( Philippines )

Kathrina Chan (APPLE) is from the Philippines . She has a Bachelor Degree in Elementary Education from the University of Santo Tomas . She loves to travel and still wants to explore the world. She believes that more important than fame, wealth, or knowledge is the ability to laugh at yourself and enjoy the pursuit of your dreams.

Girlie Dayap Caluag ( Philippines )

Girlie has a Bachelor of Arts degree, Major in English. She has 33 units in Master of Arts in Education, Major in English and Literature. She had been teaching English, Philippine Literature, and Afro-Asian Literature for eight years in the Philippines .Her experience as a teacher in both primary and secondary schools has been meaningful. She likes to share her knowledge with students and also learn from them at the same time.Her goal is to help Chinese people use the English language as a useful communication tool and uphold GLV's philosophy.

Roger Lei (China)

As a university graduate majoring both in English and Law, Roger has been teaching in GLV for over 4 years. With a helpful and kind nature, he likes to share with all the students his experience in learning, teaching and life. In his spare time, he enjoys swimming reading and Taijiquan.

Muazzam Rahimova (Uzbekistan)

Muazzam graduated from the University of Foreign Languages in Uzbekistan where she studied English Philology. She taught English for 6 years in Uzbekistan . While getting her TEFL certificate (November 2005) she fell in love with GLV and Zhuhai: the lively, English only environment, wonderful teachers and students took a place in her heart. It was her dream to work for GLV. She enjoys teaching and thinks most of the students are studious and kind. In her free time she likes watching movies and reading books. Her favourite novels are "Jane Eyre" and "Pride and Prejudice".

Donald Tan (China )

Donald Tan comes from Guilin and lives in Zhuhai. He graduated from Hangzhou University in 1989. He has18 years of working experience as a manager of international trading and new projects in a German company and a private enterprise. Reading and watching classical movies are his favorite things to do. Hobbies: collecting good books, classical CDs and DVDs. Interests: studying history, science and technology. It is his pleasure to share his business experience with you.

Yahleen Nicolas Erece (Philippines)

Yahleen was born and raised in the Philippines . She finished her Bachelor of Secondary Education degree with a major in Biology. She has earned 30 units towards her Master of Arts in Educational Management (MAEM). She has taught kindergarten, elementary, high school and college students in the Philippines and has come to China to explore the beauty of teaching English to Chinese learners. Yahleen often says, "A man is not born with the possession of knowledge". She believes that teaching is an art of sharing knowledge and a rewarding job.

Lily Li ( China )

Lily Li was born in Hangzhou,and is a Software Engineering graduate of Zhejiang University.She has worked in China Construction Bank as a System Administrator and in a private enterprise as an Office Manager. She has various interests and is always curious in new things. As a non native English speaker, she understands Chinese students' difficulties in studying English and she hopes that her kindness and patience can be of great help to them. She loves movies, reading, traveling and being with friends.

Aaron Brown (USA)

Aaron Brown is from Atlanta, Georgia USA. He has a BA in History and an MBA in Agricultural Finance from the University of Georgia. He previously worked at GLV for over five years and is very pleased to have returned. In his free time he enjoys studying Mandarin Chinese and LOVES to sing KTV-especially Lin Yi Lian and Beyond! He hopes to share his knowledge and life experience with the wonderful and fascinating people of China.
