Zuber Shaikh (India)

Zuber Shaikh graduated from an Indian university and taught for 5 years in India, teaching English and commerce/business. Taught English for a year to Kindergarten Primary and Middle school students in Huizhou city Guangdong Province. He has been teaching at GLV for over 4 years and has received TEFL Certificate. He loves dance and music, and has been a dance instructor and choreographer for the past 9 years.

Michelle Xia (China)

Michelle Xia was born in Shenyang, Liaoning Province in the north of China. She majored in English and has a great love for and interest in the language.She has worked as an English teacher since 1999 after her graduation from Liaoning University and also has experience in teaching Chinese to international clients. Michelle's kind and patient style of teaching will be of great help to beginner level students of English and Chinese. Her interests include pets, literature and collectables.

Bruce Morton(India)

Bruce Morton is an university graduate and an experienced English language teacher,originally from India.He has taught in Zhuhai and Zhongshan areas for many years and has a good knowledge of both Mandarin and Cantonese.He teaches mainly Elementary and Intermediate level classes.He is a very kind person with a friendly outgoing character and great sense of humour.He is a popular teach who enjoys spending time with students and has worked at GLV on several occasions as a temporary teacher.Bruce is also trained as a chef and works as a catering consultant to GLV.If you ask him nicely he can teach you how to cook many delicious dishes,especially Indian food.

Juliet Victor (India)

Victor Juliet was born in south India and attended school and college in Tuticorin. She has a bachelor degree in science and a certificate in food catering. She loves China very much and came to China in 2002. Her hobbies are cooking and making friends. She thinks,"Good Teaching is more an asking right questions than a giving of right answers."

Linda Zhu (China)

Linda was born in Fengshun county, Guangdong province. She graduated from Guangdong Foreign Languages Normal School majored in English and has a great love for and interest in the language. She has been an English teacher in Wanzai Middle School, Zhuhai for four years and has experience working in some companies. Linda likes to listen to music, reading, badminton and meeting people.

Rose Talang (Philippines)

Rose was born and raised in the Philippines . She graduated with a Bachelor of Secondary Education degree with a major in English. She started teaching upon graduation in the Philippines and eventually in China . She loves to share knowledge with others. She is a cheerful person with much patience in dealing with different types of people/students. She lives the saying " Smile and the world smiles with you."

Adam Sinnott ( USA )

Adam was raised in Georgia U.S.A.He attended Warren Wilson College in Asheville,North Carolina and majored in Art.After school,he did many jobs from life guarding to landscaping so that he could save money to come to China.He is a TEFL graduate who enjoys sharing knowledge.His hobbies are swimming, martial arts, studying art, history, political science and philosophy.He also enjoys camping,hiking, and traveling and plans to stay in China for a long time,learning more about the?country, and its fascinating culture.

Phillip Queen ( USA )

Phillip Queen was born and raised in North Carolina , USA . He is a TEFL graduate and received a B.A. in Traditional Chinese Medicine from Warren Wilson College. He has worked on an organic garden, in an archaeology lab, and with a wholesale distributor of Chinese herbs and acupuncture supplies. He enjoys exploring new cultures and spiritual traditions, holistic healing, the martial arts, and places of natural beauty. He hopes to give students a fresh outlook on learning and a new way of thinking about a progressive and peaceful global community.

Dulce Bacuetes ( Philippines )

Dulce served as a part-time University teacher and a full-time Guidance Counselor in the Philippines before coming to China . She finds teaching a magnificent and excellent profession to impart knowledge to other people. Dulce holds a BA degree and some MA units in School Psychology which had help her to fully understand the nature and attitudes of her students.

Mohan Dwivedi ( India )

Mohan was born in the famous city of Bollywood Bombay, now known as Mumbai. He got his Degree in English from Banaras Hindu University, which is Asia¡¯s biggest residential university. He also holds a first class Diploma with distinction in System Management from APTECH, City & Guilds English certificate from England, and even a certificate in child minding. He has taught in Mongolia, England, Russia, Poland & China. As a TEFL certified instructor, he feels that GLV provides a tremendous atmosphere for his professional growth. He appreciates the fact that GLV doesn¡¯t discriminate & provide equal opportunities to the staff.

Deepti Bhasin ( India )

Deepti was born in New Delhi but did her initial schooling from American international school, Manila. She did her English honours from Delhi University and further pursued her MBA in finance. She is a CELTA certified instructor, and recently, she obtained her M.Phil in English. She has worked in Hong Kong, New Delhi, South Africa, Botswana and China at different establishments. She has worked for 3 years in Delhi and Africa as a business manager and planner. She is extremely skillful when it comes to business or finance. She loves China and would like to learn Chinese language. She thinks that GLV approach towards English learning is absolutely unique.
