Visas

All GLV teachers hold a valid work visa.Currently the procedure for obtaining this visa is as follows:

Copies of the following documents are sent to the Foreign Experts Bureau in Guangzhou or Hangzhou:

 

Passport valid for at least 18 months
Signed contract with GLV
Bachelors Degree diploma
TEFL certificate
Resume
Health certificate
Two photos

Approximately 1 month later we receive an authorization to issue a visa. The teacher needs to take this authorization together with 2 other documents we provide to the Chinese consulate in their home country to request a Z visa (work visa).

Once the Z visa is issued the teacher travels to China were we complete the procedure.
