...shares his thoughts about Gateway Language
Village.
" I am very impressed with 'GLV',
the 'Gateway Language Village'. This total immersion English
training school, located in Zhuhai, the gateway city into
southern China, is called a 'village' because it brings
together all ages and different peoples working together
for the same goal·to learn how to communicate using English.
My intention as a performing artist has
always been to bring happiness to the people of the world
by bringing them together in unity and harmony through
music. Ping Hong, the founder and owner of GLV has the
same feelings - he uses his talents for the same goal
- by providing a "village" where Chinese students
can learn English communication skills. He does it through
language training; I do it with music. My whole life has
been one of performing for many peoples in many countries
and cultures, always traveling. I am proud to help the
students at GLV whenever I can, to develop their English
skills through music, the universal language.
Living in Zhuhai, my wife Jene and I see the success of
GLV's total immersion English program. The accelerated
learning of the students through advanced teaching methods,
and the sense of achievement reflected in the students'
enthusiasm for the school, is like a reward. As in the
performing arts, much dedication is needed and much attention
must be given to small details, this is the GLV way.
' What a Wonderful World!' ...when we
appreciate and honor the diversity of its peoples and
cultures!"
