So many Chinese people have complained that their English is not improving after years of study. They feel that their English study is like boiling a kettle of water that has never been able to reach the boiling point or an airplane taxiing on the runway that has not had a chance to take off. The International Peace Club also known as Gateway Language Village offers a total immersion class for students of English to reach that boiling point or to obtain enough momentum to take off.

The Total Immersion Experience for adults and middle school students is available all year round. Students are required to use English at all times. The experience consists of classes, lectures, debates, games, speeches, songs, movies, exercises and field trips, all in English. Foreign teachers often live and eat together with the students. Peace Club (GLV) has conducted this kind of intensive English training to more than hundreds of students, including Zhuhai government officials who were selected to go to study in Southwestern College in the USA last year.
