I still recall that in the early days of the 'Peace Club' I suggested the word 'Village' be included in its new name, which would aptly describe Xiu Ping's dream. He wanted to make this not just a language school but it had to be like a 'village'or'a community' where students and teachers would totally 'immerse'themselves in the target language of English.They would have a common goal of achieving real-world communication skills using the English language.This would lead to learning of many other cultures in the world as their teachers would be from many countries.‘It takes a village”… Congratulations to my dear friend, Hong Xiu Ping,on the occasion of the 10th Anniversary of his marvelous Gateway Language Village.
