SKILLS - BASED CLASSES

The purpose of the Skills-based class is for the teacher to help the students learn and progress focusing on the skills in English (speaking, listening, reading and writing).

A course overview and a text are assigned for every level with the exception of Level 8. Levels are broken down into sub-levels No text is assigned to Level 8. The focus for this level is getting the students to discuss a wide range of topics that they may not be familiar with, with the emphasis on helping the students to think critically in English, share their opinions and develop their communication skills. The maximum number for the skills-based classes is 15 students.

Levels 1 - 4

Monday - Friday mornings, 9:30 - 11:30

Monday, Wednesday and Friday afternoons, 1:30 - 3:30

Total: 16 hrs per week, 32 hrs per session

Levels 5 - 8

Monday - Friday mornings, 9:30 - 11:30 AM

Monday and Friday afternoons, 1:30 - 3:30
